Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

Isaiah 6:8

Hi, my name is Jared, a name derived from the book of Genesis and the genealogy of Adam. I am a Christian and have been most of my life. I have traveled the world and studied history and theology extensively. I have read the Sagas of ancient Scandinavia to the original translations of the Dead Sea Scrolls, and many books, faiths, and religious doctrines in between. I have traversed across Europe, the middle east and the Americas. Battling through arctics and deserts as I fallowed Gods path for me. I have placed my feet along the path of Christ through Israel. From Bethlehem to the Dead Sea. Even standing at the place where our Lord and Savior was born and died. I have also walked a Pilgrams path to Rome and the Vatican, studding the deep history of our faith. My beliefs are vast and developed. I have been a religious scholar for almost a decade. Always seeking knowledge and contemplating theories as a good Christian should.

I have served my nation, and my community. From the army, to almost a decade of service in EMS and firefighting. I greatly care for the needs of my nation and for those close to me. The Shaw Ranch Ministry is a way I have found to happily serve further.

My mother was our families first scholar; she holds three master’s degrees, two bachelor’s degrees, and one associate degree, as do my sisters, who each hold multiple bachelor’s and associate degrees. She and my sisters (whose intelligence outweighs mine by ten to one) are the ones who inspired me to obtain my bachelor’s, strive for my master’s, and overall become a seeker of knowledge.

However, I started my search for theology and understanding when I was 16. My family’s church fell due to drought and famine. My father, being a better man than most, did not flee and seek greener pastures. He took the weight of the church upon his shoulders and carried it for as long as he could. Like the great Atlas of the Greeks, he kept the pillars of God’s house aloft. My brothers and I assisted him in ways we were able. One helped with the singing, one with the structure, and I with the scripture.

Though I no longer preach as I once did, I derive my scholarly quest for theological knowledge from my father. Watching him stand tall through many tribulations, I was inspired. I wove the fabric of most of my writings from many of our conversational threads.

Most of the points in my books are religious theories; they are questions and gathered information. I do not stand to say right or wrong. I simply believe in my faith vigorously and have seen the tapestry of human evolution through those eyes.

I created these manuscripts as a format to open a dialog, to ask questions, and to contemplate the cosmos. I personally believe in the floods of Noah, and I believe in the teachings of the Bible and the walk of Christ. So, the viewpoints in my novels will have an underlying theme reflecting my faith.

I welcome feedback, assistance, and contrary beliefs. Let’s start a conversation that may bring the world closer together and away from conflict.
